Last updated: January 2025
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Yumee Compliance service (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Service Description
Yumee Compliance is a food safety compliance management platform designed for UK hospitality businesses. The Service enables you to:
- Record and manage food safety compliance data
- Track temperature readings, cleaning schedules and corrective actions
- Manage allergen information and PPDS labels
- Store and access staff training records
- Generate EHO readiness scores and compliance reports
Important: Yumee Compliance is a record-keeping and management tool. It does not guarantee compliance with UK food safety law, nor does it replace the advice of qualified food safety professionals. You remain responsible for ensuring your business meets all applicable legal requirements.
3. Subscription and Billing
Yumee Compliance is available on a subscription basis. Current plans and pricing are available at compliance.yumeeservices.com/pricing.
- Free trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full Pro features. No credit card is required to start the trial.
- Monthly billing: Subscriptions billed monthly are charged on the same date each month.
- Annual billing: Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for 12 months and receive a discount compared to monthly billing.
- Per-venue pricing: Pricing is per venue per month. Adding venues increases the subscription charge proportionally.
- Multi-venue discounts: Volume discounts apply for 5+ venues. See the pricing page for current rates.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
4. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by emailing hello@yumeeservices.com.
- Monthly subscriptions: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until then.
- Annual subscriptions: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the annual period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused months on annual subscriptions, except where required by law.
- Trial cancellation: Cancelling during the 14-day trial incurs no charge.
5. Data Ownership
Your data belongs to you. All compliance records, temperature logs, staff data and other content you create within the Service remain your property. We claim no ownership or rights over your content.
You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You can export your data at any time using the PDF export feature. Upon account cancellation, you can request a full data export before deletion.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

- Submit false or misleading compliance records
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable or impair it
7. Availability
We aim to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for losses arising from service downtime, except where caused by our gross negligence.
The Service includes offline functionality for core features. Records made offline will sync when connectivity is restored.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including but not limited to: loss of profits, loss of business, regulatory penalties, or loss of data.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
