What it is

Confirm checks completed
Manager confirms opening checks, closing checks and cleaning schedule have been completed.

If anything unusual happened today — a delivery issue, equipment fault, staff absence — it's logged here.
Sign off with e-signature
Manager signs off with their digital signature. The diary is timestamped and locked for that day.
22:00 reminder if not signed
If the diary hasn't been signed by 22:00, a push notification is sent to the manager automatically.
Why it matters
EHOs specifically look for evidence that management systems are operating consistently. A completed daily diary shows exactly this — that someone responsible is checking the operation every day. Gaps in the diary are a red flag in any inspection.
